I survived the 27 hours journey to Orlando.

It was a rather unpleasant journey make worse by the horrible service we got from Northwest Airlines. Now I know what Andrew meant when he told me that he was traumatized by the stewardess when he last travel in NW and it still haunts him till now..(haha..mine not so dramatic, but vow never to take NW again, except that I have a free ticket to Japan which I will use it to bring my kids to Japan next)..

Our first stop was a cruise to Bahamas with Royal Caribbean cruise liner..

Boy, Bahamas is beautiful..All the beaches there is so beautiful and captivating. The water is crystal clear, even at the port that we docked. I have never seen such beautiful water, even though I been to places like Hawaii, Great Barrier Reefs, Surfers Paradise, Sunshine Coast, Tioman, Phuket..and none of these is even close to what I see in Bahamas.

Bahamas is the place for the rich and famous, mainly because it is tax free haven.  The houses there are nice and relatively affordable..The price I pay for my pigeon hole in SG can get me a nice house in Bahamas…hmm..maybe when I retire, I will consider retiring in Bahamas… :-)

We got a tour guide to bring us around Bahamas town, the guide bring us to see some of their houses there, noticeably 1 decent house there which the guide told us belong to the Prime Minister of Bahamas.  Was told that even though the PM of Bahamas was given a state hoouse to stay, he declined and instead chose to stay with his people who voted him in.  The same PM has been their PM for the past 9 years..That says alot of their PM, doesn’t it?

Our next stop was Coco Cay – a beautiful and captivating beach.  The water was clear n green..u don’t really need to snorkel and you can see the fishes swimming around.  The weather in Bahamas was nice and sunny..except for the wind which was icy cold, the weather was otherwise nice.  Except for my dainty princess, all the rest of the kids were brave enough to swim in the beaches..as for the adults..haha..all of us find the water too cold :-)

Bahamas was truly a relaxing and beautiful place to be in.

Credit goes to Royal Carribean Cruise for a pleasant and enjoyable time on board their cruiseliner.  It was the best cruise I had so far..
